About Ahad Truck Rental — Dubai’s 1 Ton and 3 Ton Pickup Specialist
About Ahad Truck Rental

We Run Two Truck Sizes
in Dubai. On Purpose.

Every other pickup rental company in Dubai lists 10 truck sizes. We list two. The 1 ton handles studios, 1BHK apartments, and IKEA pickups. The 3 ton handles 2BHK moves, office relocations, and warehouse cargo. Those two sizes cover the actual work. We built everything around doing them better than anyone else in Dubai.

Why We Started

Pickup Trucks Were Available in Dubai. Reliable Ones Were Not.

Pickup trucks were never hard to find in Dubai. The problem was everything that came after the booking. Drivers who called asking for the location of a JVC service gate they should have known. Quotes that grew by AED 80 once Salik entered the conversation. A 3 ton truck that showed up for a studio apartment move because the 1 ton was already out on something else.

Dubai moves at a pace that punishes those gaps. Leases in Jumeirah Village Circle end on a Thursday night. Studios in International City need to be cleared before the next tenant arrives Friday morning. Warehouses in Al Quoz have loading bay windows that close at 6PM and do not reopen. These are not edge cases. This is Dubai’s daily rhythm.

We built Ahad Truck Rental because pickup truck rentals in Dubai were technically available but operationally unreliable. We fixed the operational part.

Two trucks. Transparent AED pricing sent by WhatsApp before the truck moves. Drivers who know the service entrances and permit portals across the communities they serve. No deposit until the job is done and you confirm it. That was the model we built, and it is the model we still run on every booking.

The Two Sizes That Cover Dubai

Every Truck We Own Is Either a 1 Ton or a 3 Ton

Not because we could not get other sizes. Because 1 ton and 3 ton handle more than 90 percent of actual Dubai move demand. Picking the right two sizes and running them correctly beats listing ten sizes and running them inconsistently.

Why We Chose Specialisation

The Specialist Always Beats the Generalist When It Matters Most

Other pickup rental companies in Dubai list 1 ton through 10 ton on their website. That range looks better on a landing page. In practice it means their 1 ton and 3 ton availability is shared with six or seven other vehicle categories, their drivers rotate across different truck types each week, and the pricing shifts because the operation is stretched thin across too many variables.

We made the opposite decision. Every truck in our fleet is either a 1 ton or a 3 ton. Every driver we hire is trained specifically on those two vehicle types and on the building access rules for the communities where they work most often. Marina, JBR, and JLT have loading bay hours and developer portals our drivers know without looking anything up. Business Bay towers have Emaar move-in permit requirements that our drivers have navigated dozens of times.

When you call for a 1 ton or a 3 ton truck, it is available. Not on hold for another size category. Not redirected to whatever we happen to have free today. Available.

That consistency is what 2,400 completed trips and a 4.9-star rating on Google are built from. Not from listing every size that exists.

What We Do Differently

Four Operational Facts That Separate Us From Every Other Pickup Rental in Dubai

Not features. Specific operational decisions we made and the reasons they matter to you on the day of your move.

01

We Know the Building Gates Across Dubai

The service entrance at JVC’s community tower is not the same gate as the main residents’ entrance. The DMCC permit portal for JLT is separate from the Emaar One app used for Marina and Downtown towers. Nakheel communities on Palm Jumeirah have their own move-in permit system entirely. Our drivers know these distinctions across Dubai’s major residential and commercial communities because they complete trips inside them daily. Your driver calls 30 minutes before arrival to confirm the correct gate and loading bay. They arrive with our company documents ready for building management without you needing to chase.

02

The Price We Quote Is the Price You Pay

Our quote includes the truck, the driver, fuel for the trip within Dubai, and Salik. We send it by WhatsApp before the truck dispatches so you see the number in writing. The only items that can ever add to that quote are ones we tell you about upfront before the booking is confirmed: extra helpers if you need them, a second trip if the load does not fit in one, or a destination outside Dubai. These are not surprises after the job ends. They are decisions you make before the truck leaves.

03

Same-Day Dispatch Without the Asterisk

We keep trucks moving across Dubai every day of the week, including weekends, Ramadan, and public holidays. Book before noon and your truck dispatches the same day. Book in the morning and it can arrive within two to three hours depending on your location. Same-day dispatch means we plan for it, not that we will try our best. During the end-of-month peak window (28th to 3rd of each month), when Dubai lease renewals stack up and moving demand spikes, we recommend calling 48 hours ahead to lock your slot. Same-day bookings are still possible during that window, but morning slots fill faster than any other time of the month.

04

No Deposit. You Pay After the Job Is Done.

We do not ask for cash or a card payment before the truck dispatches. You pay in cash or by card after the trip is complete and the truck has reached the destination. This applies to every booking we take, including same-day requests, emergency bookings, and first-time customers who have never used us before. We operate this way because it removes the single biggest anxiety in Dubai’s pickup rental market: paying upfront for a service that does not match the description. If the truck shows up and the job gets done right, you pay. That is the agreement.

Dubai-Specific Moving Knowledge

Dubai Moves on Its Own Rules. We Know All of Them.

Moving a pickup truck in Dubai is not the same as moving one in any other city. There are RTA road timing restrictions, developer-managed building permit portals, a government-mandated summer outdoor work ban, and end-of-month demand windows that change the entire booking picture. Every experienced Dubai mover knows at least one of these. We know all of them before the truck leaves.

RTA Commercial Vehicle Timing

Pickup trucks registered as commercial vehicles face movement restrictions on Dubai’s major roads during peak hours. Sheikh Zayed Road bans commercial vehicles from 6AM to 10PM. Al Khail Road has three daily restricted windows: 6:30AM to 8:30AM, 1PM to 3PM, and 5:30PM to 8PM. Emirates Road adds an evening ban from 5:30PM to 8PM. The Al Maktoum Bridge, Al Shindagha Tunnel, and Airport Tunnel are off-limits at all times under RTA regulations. We route every job knowing these windows so your booking does not arrive late because of a miscalculated route.

Best timing: Cross-community moves between 10AM and 3PM get the cleanest routing across Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road.

Building Move-In Permits

Nearly every Dubai tower from JBR, Dubai Marina, and JLT to Business Bay, Downtown, and JVC requires a formal Move-In Permit before any truck can access the loading bay. Emaar buildings use the Emaar One app. DMCC manages JLT permits through their own portal. Nakheel communities on Palm Jumeirah and in Discovery Gardens have separate permit systems. Most applications require our trade license and vehicle insurance certificate. We share those documents by WhatsApp the same day you ask, so your permit application does not stall waiting on paperwork from our side.

Apply early: Submit your permit at least five working days before your move date. Same-week processing is sometimes available but not guaranteed by building management.

Summer Outdoor Work Hours

From June 15 to September 15, UAE Ministry of Human Resources regulations prohibit outdoor work between 12:30PM and 3:00PM. This applies directly to loading and unloading on a truck bed in any outdoor area, including parking lots, service roads, and open loading bays. We schedule every summer job starting at 7AM. Most morning moves are loaded, in transit, and complete before 11:30AM. If your building restricts early morning access times, call before booking so we can plan the slot to stay within the legal working window.

Summer tip: June to September sees lower moving competition in Dubai. Morning slots still book fast. Call 48 hours ahead for a guaranteed window.

Verify Before You Book

Licensed to Operate in Dubai. Our Documents Are Yours to Review.

Ahad Truck Rental operates under a UAE trade license issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism. Our fleet carries commercial vehicle insurance that covers every trip within the UAE. If you want to verify either document before you book, we share them by WhatsApp within two minutes of any request. No forms, no email chain, no waiting.

Here is a practical suggestion before you hire any pickup truck company in Dubai: ask for the trade license number before you pay a deposit. It takes one message to confirm. A licensed, insured operator will share it without hesitation. An operator who declines or delays is a signal worth taking seriously before any money changes hands.

We do not require a deposit. But the principle applies to every company in this market. Verify the license, confirm the insurance, and make sure the quote you receive is in writing with a clear itemised breakdown. That is the standard we operate to and the standard we encourage every Dubai customer to hold all moving companies to.

  • DET trade license issued in Dubai, verifiable on request
  • Commercially insured fleet for UAE road transport
  • Licensed drivers under UAE driving regulations
  • Zero deposit on every booking, including same-day
  • Written AED quote sent by WhatsApp before dispatch
  • Salik and fuel included in all Dubai-area quotes, stated upfront
  • 4.9 Google rating from verified customers, not curated testimonials
  • Available during Ramadan and all UAE public holidays
Common Questions

Questions People Ask About Ahad Truck Rental

Specific answers to real questions. If yours is not here, call us and we will answer it in under two minutes.

Yes. We operate under a UAE trade license issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), formerly DED. Our vehicles carry commercial transport insurance valid for all UAE roads. If you want to verify before you book, send us a WhatsApp message and we will share the license number and insurance certificate within two minutes. We encourage customers to ask this of any pickup truck rental company in Dubai before making a payment.
Because those two sizes handle the overwhelming majority of real Dubai move demand correctly. A studio or 1BHK move needs a 1 ton. A 2BHK apartment, small office, or warehouse cargo run needs a 3 ton. Companies that list every size from 1 to 10 ton spread their available fleet across too many categories, which produces inconsistent availability. We own and operate only these two sizes and run them better than a generalist company can. If your job genuinely needs a 5 ton or larger truck, we will tell you honestly rather than redirect an undersized vehicle to your booking.
No. We do not ask for cash or card payment before the truck moves. Payment happens after the trip is complete and the truck has reached the destination. You confirm the job is done, then you pay in cash or by card. This applies to every booking type including same-day requests, emergency bookings, and first-time customers.
The quoted price includes the truck, the driver, fuel for the trip within Dubai, and Salik toll charges. We send this quote by WhatsApp in writing before the truck dispatches. The only items that can ever adjust the final price are ones we tell you about before the booking is confirmed: extra helpers if you request them, a second trip if the load exceeds the truck capacity, or a destination outside Dubai. None of these are added after the job ends without your prior agreement.
Because they complete trips across the same communities every week. JVC service gates, DMCC permit portals for JLT towers, Emaar One app requirements for Marina and Downtown buildings, and Nakheel portal access for Palm Jumeirah properties are all part of the regular work our drivers navigate. Before arrival, they call 30 minutes ahead to confirm the correct entrance. We also provide our trade license and insurance documents the same day your building management requests them, so permit applications do not stall on our paperwork.
Yes. Book before noon and your truck dispatches the same day. Morning bookings typically arrive within two to three hours depending on your location in Dubai. Same-day service is not a placeholder phrase we use to attract calls. We maintain available trucks daily specifically to honour it. During the end-of-month period (28th to 3rd of each month), same-day slots are still available but fill faster. Calling 48 hours ahead during that window gives you a more secure booking.
Dubai is our primary coverage area. We complete trips across all Dubai communities from Jebel Ali Free Zone and Dubai South to Festival City, Al Qusais, and Mirdif. We also complete inter-emirate runs to Sharjah and Abu Dhabi when needed. Call with your destination and we will confirm the route and rate immediately.
The 1 ton carries up to 1,000 kg on a 6 by 5 foot flatbed. It handles a studio apartment, a 1BHK with standard furniture, IKEA deliveries, single appliance runs, and light cargo across Dubai. Starting from AED 170 per trip with driver and fuel included. The 3 ton carries up to 3,000 kg on a 14 to 17 foot cargo bed, with an optional tail lift for heavy items. It handles 2BHK apartments, office equipment, warehouse pallets from Al Quoz, and bulkier commercial cargo. Starting from AED 250 per trip. Not sure which fits your job? Call or WhatsApp and we will confirm the right size in two minutes based on exactly what you are moving.
