Moving in Dubai Has Its Own Rules
Dubai is not a generic city, and moving here is not a generic task. Here is what experienced customers already know before they book:
Truck Rental Dubai in Summer
From June 15 to September 15, UAE law bans outdoor work between 12:30PM and 3:00PM. All loading and unloading must stop during those hours. If you are moving in July or August, book a morning slot starting at 7AM and aim to finish by 12PM. Our team plans around this automatically.
Building Move-In Permits
Most Dubai towers, from JBR and Marina to JVC and Business Bay, require a formal Move-In Permit before a truck can enter. Emaar buildings use the Emaar One app. Nakheel communities have their own portals. JLT towers are managed through DMCC. Apply at least five days before your moving date. We provide all company documents (trade license, insurance) that building management asks for from the moving company side.
RTA Road Restrictions for Commercial Trucks
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) restricts commercial pickup truck movement on key roads. Sheikh Zayed Road bans commercial vehicles from 6AM to 10PM — a full movement restriction, not just peak congestion. Al Khail Road has three restricted windows: 6:30AM to 8:30AM, 1PM to 3PM, and 5:30PM to 8PM. Emirates Road toward Sharjah carries an evening ban from 5:30PM to 8PM. The Al Maktoum Bridge, Shindagha Tunnel, and Airport Tunnel prohibit commercial trucks at all times. We plan every job route around these RTA windows. If you are moving between Al Barsha, Downtown, or Discovery Gardens, schedule your slot between 10AM and 3PM for clear routing on permitted roads.
Can I book a pickup truck without a deposit in Dubai?
Yes. We do not take deposits. You pay only after the trip is done, once the truck has reached the destination and you confirm the job is complete. This applies to all bookings, including same-day ones.
